Teriyaki Chicken - New Year, New Flavours!

Posted by Tracey Emney on

We enjoy taking our customers on a food journey around the world showcasing the talents of our amazing team in the kitchen led by Charlotte Miller and Dave Roberts.

Our latest new ready-meal is inspired by Charlotte’s love of Japanese food and is exactly the sort of meal she would make for herself at home: slow-cooked sticky glazed chicken, full of flavour and balanced by the clean and fresh tastes of wombok, zucchini, and spring onion, and the firmer texture of brown rice and edamame beans.

“This dish is a great introduction for anyone who is new to Japanese food, but will be equally savoured by people who enjoy it on a regular basis.” explains Charlotte. “The concept is quite simple and knowing that the flavours of the sauce are quite strong, it was a case of balancing that out with simple clean flavours with vegetables and rice. The crunch of the edamame is also really nice against the quite soft chicken.”

Teriyaki Chicken is a complete ready-made meal, perfect for a healthy work lunch or home dinner. Add pickled ginger and wasabi for some extra zing.

It is suitable for the following diets: gluten free, low FODMAP, lactose free and Active lifestyle.
