Participants for Ulcerative Colitis Dietary Study

Are you or someone you know living with ulcerative colitis (UC)? Monash University is recruiting participants for a dietary study exploring new treatments.

Introduction
UC is a chronic condition that causes inflammation in the colon, often leading to pain, fatigue, and disruption to daily life. While medications play a key role in managing symptoms, growing research suggests diet may also influence disease outcomes.

That’s where this study comes in.

Led by Dr CK Yao, a Senior Research Fellow and Accredited Practising Dietitian from the Monash FODMAP research team, this study aims to assess the impact of a new dietary strategy for people living with UC.

What Makes This Study Unique?
Unlike typical studies that rely on participants to follow written dietary advice, this is a feeding trial - meaning all meals are carefully designed and prepared for you.

And that’s where We Feed You comes in.

We Feed You is proud to partner with the Monash research team to deliver meals to meet the study’s requirements.  As a result, participants can stick to the trial with minimal fuss - no cooking, shopping or prep required.

“We Feed You’s expertise allows us to focus on the science. Their meals make it easier for participants to follow the diet, which means better results for everyone,” says Dr CK Yao, Monash University.
